To Cornwall – Day five Thursday 8th

Grand Western Canal

Hooray, earache has passed, onwards and upwards, literally.
Stumbled across the Grand Western Canal outside the campsite so had a beautiful FLAT first 13 miles and then went up the 1.6 miles of Long Drag Hill out of Tiverton. This set the tone for the remainder of the day. 61 miles, hot, wind in our face and very hilly. 9 hours on the road today, very hard work, but the end is almost in sight.

Another superb reception at The Arscott Arms (a few miles north of Launceston, Devon). They do the most amazing burger meals!
